Join us as we kick off our Thursday night jazz series with Karl Weismantel and Moffett Morris. Karl has a strong jazz background, classical guitar training and a fondness for dense harmony, Baroque counterpoint and rhythm styles from the Caribbean, South America and Spain. Originally from Rochester New York, Moffett began taking piano lessons at the age of nine but didn’t start playing electric bass till thirteen.  While attending high school began studying bass violin tuba and bass trombone and attending summer jazz workshop at the Eastman School of Music. Since relocating to Atlanta, Moffett has been performing with local musicians for over 30 years.
