Join us as we kick off our Thursday night jazz series with Tavis Elder and Moffett Morris. Originally from Rochester New York, Moffett began taking piano lessons at the age of nine but didn’t start playing electric bass till thirteen.  While attending high school began studying bass violin tuba and bass trombone and attending summer jazz workshop at the Eastman School of Music. Since relocating to Atlanta, Moffett has been performing with local musicians for over 30 years. Jazz guitarist Tavius Elder is creative, passionate and experienced in live performances.
